VI Maraton Pędziwiatra 2026

The Pędziwiatr Marathon is a 42.195 km road race in Gliwice, held within the Park Kultury i Wypoczynku. Participants begin and conclude at the Polana Edukacyjna, located behind the Piast Gliwice stadium. The race commences at 10:00, coinciding with the Gliwicka Parkowa Prowokacja Biegowa. The course layout is straightforward yet challenging over its duration: 10 circuits, each approximately 4.2195 km long. While solo runners are welcome, the event also features four-person team and relay options. Both team formats mandate the inclusion of two women and two men. In the team race, all four members run the entire marathon distance. For the relay, participants complete a minimum of two consecutive laps before passing the timing chip in the designated change zone. AKMB Pędziwiatr Gliwice is the organizing body, offering awards for overall, age-group, team, and relay placements, in addition to a sponsor prize draw.
