DATAGROUP Triathlon Nürnberg 2026

The DATAGROUP Triathlon Nürnberg takes place beside Wöhrder See, with all events centered at Parkplatz Norikerstraße in central Nuremberg. This mid-August triathlon in Bavaria offers two primary distances: a 25.5 km sprint comprising a 500 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run, and an Olympic-distance race featuring a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run. Both distances are available for solo competitors or relay teams, welcoming participants beyond seasoned triathletes. The swim occurs in Wöhrder See, the bike course crosses Nuremberg’s eastern areas, and the run route follows Wöhrder Wiese before entering the Old Town. The event also features a Firmencup for corporate teams and relay units, contributing to a communal team atmosphere rather than solely individual competition. Recent years have seen over 900 participants, with finisher amenities like a shirt and drybag included in the race registration.
