The Dr.-Selmayr-Gedächtnislauf is an annual memorial run held in Au, near Bad Feilnbach. It is organized by Ski-Club Au e.V. and starts from the sports field on Kreuthweg. Participants can choose between a half marathon and a 10 km race, with the 10 km also available for Nordic walkers. Younger participants have dedicated races: a 2.2 km Schülerlauf for school-aged runners and a 500 m Kinderlauf for younger children.
The start and finish are located between the ASV Au sports center and the Ski Club clubhouse, reflecting the event's local club origins. The run commemorates Dr. med. Hermann Selmayr, a founding member of the ski club’s endurance sports group and a proponent of endurance activities in the region. Participants receive timing, refreshments, and a finisher medal. The field includes half-marathon competitors and local families participating in the children’s races.
