F60-Triathlon 2026

The F60-Triathlon takes place in September at the F60 visitor mine in Lichterfeld, Brandenburg, organized by Triathlon Team Senftenberg. It features a sprint race and a short-distance race, available for individual competitors and relay teams. The sprint involves approximately 750 meters of swimming, 20 kilometers by bike, and a 5 to 5.5 kilometer run. The short distance includes 1.5 kilometers of swimming, 40 kilometers on the bike, and about 10 to 11 kilometers of running. An aquathlon option is also offered for swim-and-run participants. The unique setting distinguishes the event: athletes compete around the F60 site, a large visitor mine landmark. The course utilizes the lakes and ponds of the Brandenburg region, deviating from a typical city route. The sprint individual race is a component of the state championships. The overall event maintains an accessible, local character with Jedermann age-group entries and relay teams. Recent events have attracted over 300 participants, including visitors from Zamberk, Senftenberg's partner city.
