The Kallinchen Triathlon takes place in late summer in Zossen, Brandenburg, with races centered around Kallinchen and its adjacent lakes and ponds. The event offers a range of distances, from a children's race to the Olympic distance, accommodating first-time participants, short-distance competitors, relay teams, and those aiming for a full swim-bike-run challenge. The Olympic course involves a 1.5 km swim, a 39 km bike ride, and a 10 km run. The sprint distance is 750 m swimming, 26 km cycling, and 5 km running, while the supersprint covers 300 m, 13 km, and 2.2 km respectively. For younger participants in the Schüler B race, the distances are 100 m for the swim, 2.2 km for the bike, and 600 m for the run.
Ausdauerfreunde e.V. is the organizer, with Berlin Timing managing the race timing and providing live results when internet is available. The event caters to a broad spectrum of athletes: children and juniors have dedicated formats, beginners can opt for the supersprint or sprint, experienced age-groupers can compete in the Olympic distance, and teams can share the effort through relays. The inclusion of an LM Berlin category adds a regional championship element to the open races.
