The Sieber Berg- und Panoramalauf is a Harz mountain race based in Herzberg am Harz, Germany, with all races finishing at Runde Wiesen 1. It takes place in August and offers three options: a 4.5 km short route with 130 meters of elevation gain, a 12.5 km middle route with 500 meters, and a 27.5 km original route with 900 meters. Both walking and running are permitted, and the shortest course was introduced for beginners, children, teenagers, and families seeking a manageable introduction to mountain sport.
The longer routes traverse the hills around Sieber and head towards well-known Harz high points. The 12.5 km Panorama-Runde ascends Großer Knollen, begins with a very steep climb, and includes more elevation than the previous middle-distance route. The 27.5 km original course crosses Großer Knollen and Hanskühnenburg, presenting the most challenging option. The race re-establishes a local Harz running tradition after a 14-year hiatus, maintaining a handmade, club-like atmosphere instead of a large-scale event.
