The Carrera del Pavo y Papá Noel is a Christmas-season road race held in Molins, a district of Orihuela. The race starts and finishes beside the church square in the village center. The adult races are short, run on asphalt, with 5K as the main distance and, in some years, 10K as the longer option. Children have their own races over shorter distances. Local organizers include the Molins fiestas commission, the Association of Friends of Culture and the Rural World, and Orihuela City Council. Club Tragamillas provides technical race support.
The route is contained within Molins, using an urban asphalt circuit. This makes it a compact village race, not a point-to-point run. The event also functions as a charity race for the Spanish Association Against Cancer, adding a local fundraising purpose. The participants are divided into age and veteran categories. Younger teenagers are restricted to the 5K. A local category exists for sub-23 and senior runners from the area.
