Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Metsä Group Seurakisat is a relaxed athletics competition series organized by Länsi-Uudenmaan Urheilijat, with Metsä Group as a partner of the Finnish Athletics Federation. It is integrated into the club’s regular training sessions. Children can attend as they would for normal practice, and no competition license is required. The summer program typically includes several competition days announced via MyClub and the competition calendar. Each session begins with a group warm-up before participants move to the day’s event(s), such as short sprint races. The format is practical and community-based: parents of the participating children assist as officials, measuring attempts, preparing the sand pit, and managing other tasks.
