Le Bidoyon is an annual mountain-bike randonnée in Annecy, France, organized by Les Cyclos du Semnoz. Riders start and finish around Avenue des Neigeos in Seynod, with morning check-in and the event wrapped up by late afternoon. It is a choice-of-distance day rather than one fixed race: the listed VTT routes range from a short option of about 15-16 km with a few hundred metres of climbing to a long ride of around 60 km, with the tougher versions climbing close to or above 900 m of elevation gain.
The routes use the hills around Seynod and the Semnoz, so the longer courses can move from gentler early riding toward Montagny-les-Lanches into more serious climbing. Past course notes describe a 44 km version heading from old Seynod toward Balmont, then rising progressively into the Semnoz to around 1000 m altitude, with playful descents and jump opportunities on the way down. The event is built for local club riders and recreational mountain bikers, with five marked circuits, feed stops, and a hot meal included in the entry fee. Online registration is encouraged with a small discount, but riders can still sign up on site in the morning.
