The Trail Entre Terres et Mer takes place in Saint-Coulomb, Ille-et-Vilaine, on the Breton coast of France, with race day scheduled for December. Participants can select from 14 km and 24 km trail routes, suitable for those seeking an off-road coastal race without the commitment of an ultra-distance event.
The shorter route, measured at approximately 13.9 km, follows local paths and a section of the coastal trail, featuring technical terrain. The race's name translates to “between land and sea,” reflecting the Saint-Coulomb environment with its wild coastal scenery, ocean vistas, and rolling hills, distinct from a city road course. The inaugural event was held in Saint-Coulomb, with proceeds supporting Telethon. Local club runners have historically shown strong participation, and Flavie Le Jannou was the first female finisher in the first edition.
