Triathlon La Petite Trace à Marcel - Mouthe 2027

La Petite Trace à Marcel is a snow triathlon held in Mouthe, located in France’s Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. The XXL race is an individual Backyard-style event with a 12-hour limit, where athletes repeat the same loop until the time expires or they withdraw. Each lap consists of three winter disciplines: 9 km of skating-style cross-country skiing, 6 km of classic skiing, and 5 km of trail running on snow. The format is challenging because of the constant changes in rhythm, equipment, and muscle engagement as the laps accumulate, rather than a single long course.
