The day begins with the half marathon, followed shortly by the 50 km and 5 km races, with the children's stadium run, stadium cross races, and 10 km scheduled for the afternoon. Entry fees are reasonable, with student races costing 5 euros and the half marathon 15 euros, and on-site registration is available on race day. The main course is flat, asphalted, officially measured to IAAF standards, and runs through the Rodenbach forest, making it suitable for runners aiming for fast times or using it as autumn marathon preparation. A German M15 record over 5 km was set on this course, indicating its speed. The 5 km route features a stadium passage near the finish, allowing spectators and supporters a clear view of the race's progression. The youngest participants will compete in a stadium cross with obstacles, all finishers receive a special certificate, and many awards are distributed on site. SSC Hanau-Rodenbach, with nearly 50 years of road-race organizing experience, presents the event under the motto: “From runners for runners.”

The Pfettrachtaler Lauf begins at the SC Pfettrach sports field in Altdorf, Bavaria, offering runners several road-race options on the same day. The primary distances are a 21.1 km half marathon, a 10 km run, and a 5 km run. Shorter races are available for children and students over 2 km, 800 m, and 400 m. The event typically takes place in autumn and has been held annually since 2002. Organized by SC Pfettrach, it maintains the feel of a local club event rather than a large city race. The program extends beyond standard running events. Nordic walking is included, and inline skating is part of the event listing. Recent editions have also featured 23 km mountain bike and e-mountain bike races on an MTB trail. The youngest participants have their own Bambini race, while older school-age runners compete in separate student distances before the longer adult races commence. Local businesses and AOK Bayern provide support, reinforcing the event's connection to the Pfettrach and Landshut areas.

The Plopsa Nikolauslauf Haßloch begins and ends within Plopsaland Deutschland, the amusement park in Haßloch, directing its longer distance runners into the Haßlocher Wald. Organized by LC Haßloch, this St. Nicholas season Volkslauf features races for various skill levels: a measured half marathon, a 5.5 km run for beginners, a 3.3 km student run, an 800 m run for bambini, and a 250 m mini run. The half marathon combines road running with forest paths, while the shorter races offer distinct distances for children, youth runners, active adults, and masters. This event continues the tradition of the Haßloch Nikolauslauf in a new format with Plopsaland as a partner, following over fifty editions of the established race. Starting spots are capped, and previous outcomes indicate it attracts both dedicated local runners and families or newcomers; Marko Martin of TV Maikammer, who won the half marathon, described the win as a personal dream.
