The 95th Coloplast Tatai Tófutás begins at the New Kayak House and Ecotourism Centre, circling the Old Lake. It maintains the character of a local event, not a highly produced spectacle. This is a relaxed race suitable for families, novices, seniors, casual runners, and those seeking a moderate or challenging pace.
The course follows the lake's perimeter on a mix of surfaces: paved paths and solid woodland trails. There is little elevation gain, though some areas may become muddy after rain. Shorter routes loop towards the castle before returning, while longer courses proceed in the opposite direction with the lake to the right. Participants will receive chip timing on their ankles, with aid stations available on the course and at the finish. Finisher medals are provided for the main race distances, and longer-distance runners will receive a traditional Hungarian reward of homemade strudel.
