4 Ore d'Autunno is an autumn running event in Riccione, on Italy's Romagna coast, based on the local “Classica d’autunno.” Riccione Podismo organizes it. The main competitive race is a 21-kilometer road run for adult men and women. It is on the regional FIDAL calendar, has national FIDAL race recognition, and gives runners a three-hour limit. Electronic timing is handled by the Evodata microchip system.
The day includes more than just licensed racers: alongside the 21K, there are non-competitive 13.5K and 5K routes open to anyone who wants a walk or easy run through the hills around Riccione. The competitive field can include FIDAL club athletes, runners from affiliated sports bodies, Italian and foreign Runcard holders, disabled athletes, stroller athletes, and pushers. The event is in its 42nd edition, giving it the character of a long-running local autumn fixture.
