Enduro Marche Series Round 3 is the Cesane Enduro Race in Fossombrone, with the start and finish in the town center. This mountain bike enduro race features mostly downhill timed special stages, connected by short uphill transfers. The race concludes both the Enduro Marche Series and the FCI Marche regional enduro championship. Mtb Club Sorci Verdi organizes it, reflecting the club’s established presence in the Marche enduro scene.
Most of the riding occurs off-road on the trails of Monte delle Cesane, within the local area known as Cesane Bike Park. The course requires technical skill, endurance, and good pacing over pure downhill speed, and it is open to both standard bikes and pedal-assist e-bikes. Over 200 riders from across Italy participate, including adults and young athletes. Former MotoGP riders Marco Melandri and Andrea Dovizioso have competed in the e-bike category, and Fossombrone officials and the Italian national team’s technical commissioner have also attended. The Monte delle Cesane area has also hosted major road races, such as Tirreno-Adriatico and the Giro d’Italia.
