Sassorace 2026

Sasso Race is a cycling event held at Centro Sportivo Ca' de Testi in Sasso Marconi, located in the Apennines near Bologna. Organized by the Green Devils Team, it attracts over 400 participants. The race is part of several Italian off-road cycling series, such as the Deltos Cup, Biciscout Cup, Appennino Superbike, and Rampitek, and is also included in the Emilia Romagna regional championship schedule. The course winds through the Bologna Apennines, passing Monte Sole, Monte Mario, and the Pliocene Contrafforte Natural Park. The event has reached double-digit editions, with some years missed because of the pandemic and floods. Participation has increased, and the field comprises regular circuit competitors alongside riders aiming for regional points. Lorenzo Allodi won the men's race and Athena Tzoulakis the women's race in recent editions.
