Unionsrittet NM Gravel is a two-day gravel race beginning in Moss, Norway, and concluding across the border in Karlstad, Sweden. The route spans approximately 360 km, largely following the Unionsleden, a Norway-to-Sweden cycle trail of about 350 km composed mostly of gravel roads. It is a national-level event, distinguishing it from a casual group ride while retaining the point-to-point character of a long gravel journey.
Riders travel from Moss to Bengtsfors on the first stage, then proceed from Bengtsfors to Karlstad on the second day. The overnight stop is integrated into the event: Bengtsfors provides a cycling gathering between stages featuring food, beverages, music, and activities. Morsa SK contributes to the race's organization, and the course's cross-border nature defines its identity without requiring a complex structure.
