The Polish Bike Tour - Polska 3200 begins at 09:00 on August 15 from PreZero Arena in Gliwice. Riders embark on a loop around Poland with a target distance of approximately 3,200 km and roughly 30,000 m of climbing. The route closely follows the country’s borders, simulating a full lap. The organizer frames it as an adventure rally, distinct from races prioritizing comfort or speed. The terrain mix dictates bike selection: about 65% asphalt, cobblestone, and paved roads, with the remaining 35% on gravel, off-road sections, forest roads, and singletrack, making MTB and gravel bikes suitable.
The route evolves as it crosses the country. The west features rivers, hills, mountains, lakes, forests, and open meadows. The north includes coastal paths and flatter sections near the Baltic, where headwinds are common. The east offers landscape parks, meadows, forests, and low mountains, leading to more challenging mountain sections with steep climbs, forest tracks, fast descents, and sections requiring dismounting. The event targets individuals prepared for extreme fatigue, variable weather, and sustained effort over several thousand kilometers, aiming to complete the loop within the time limit.
