SÖDRA ÄNGGÅRDSLOPPET 2026

Södra Änggårdsloppet is an 8 km trail race in Högsbo, Gothenburg, set in Södra Änggården and Änggårdsbergen. The route includes approximately 310 meters of elevation gain, presenting a short race with significant hills rather than a flat urban course. This event operates as a relatively new local race, with participants divided into starting groups to accommodate different running paces. The course crosses the Änggårdsbergen nature reserve, offering a concentrated trail challenge near the city. The race is accompanied by a day festival featuring artists, DJs, exhibitors, food vendors, fireworks, and activities for children, allowing families to engage with the event beyond the run itself. Participants receive medals and beverages, with an entry fee of 165 SEK.
