Cupid's Chase 5K Charleston 2027

Cupid's Chase 5K Charleston is a February 5K held at James Island County Park on Riverland Drive in Charleston. The race begins in the morning following check-in, follows a certified 5K course, and includes professional timing with results available post-race. This event is part of a national Community Options series that generates funds for housing and employment programs supporting individuals with disabilities. The Charleston race welcomes participants beyond competitive runners: walkers, wheelchair users, families with strollers, sponsors, and leashed pets are permitted. All finishers receive a Cupid's Chase medal and a drawstring bag. The top three male and female finishers are awarded trophies, and age-group awards are presented across 14 divisions, from children to runners aged 70 and older. The series as a whole attracts over 17,000 participants nationwide and proceeds regardless of weather conditions.
