Smok Ultra Race

Smok Ultra Race is a trail race in Poland’s Będkowska Valley, based around Brandysówka and the Dolina Będkowska finish area. Runners can choose 12 km, 21 km, 30 km, or 50 km, with dragon-themed distance names: Smoczuś, Smoczek, Smok, and Smoczysko. The shorter options provide a mountain running feel, while the 50 km offers the series' ultra-race character. The routes traverse the valley’s limestone landscape, leading runners through ravines, past isolated rock peaks, and toward a finish under the Sokolica wall. The 30 km Smok begins in Brandysówka and concludes in Dolina Będkowska. The organizer supplies marked courses, timing, medical support, aid stations with provisions, finisher medals, prizes, and a post-race meal with a cold hop-based drink humorously called “highly isotonic.”
