Green Triathlon du Haut-Languedoc 2026

The Green Triathlon du Haut-Languedoc takes place in late June at Lac de la Raviège in France’s Haut-Languedoc region, approximately 3.5 hours from Barcelona and accessible via Montpellier and Toulouse airports. The event offers distances from XS to L, including triathlons for various skill levels, M and L distance swim-bike races, and free introductory triathlons for children aged 5 to 12. Swimmers will use the clear, temperate lake water, typically around 22°C, with distances ranging from 375 m to 2.25 km. The cycling routes traverse quiet, hilly roads featuring significant ascents, such as Col du Cabaretou, Col de Fontfroide, Col Frajure, and Col de la Bane. The running segments are situated within the Source Salvetat biological zone, involving one, two, or four laps based on the race distance. This event has previously hosted the French L Distance Triathlon Championships for consecutive years, attracting competitive triathletes alongside club teams, families, and participants in the swim-bike category. The weekend also includes musical performances, a dedicated triathlon dinner, and reduced prices for local activities like tree climbing and water skiing with race bibs.
