Sobre esta prova
Bieg o Złotą Nić Kaszub is a 10 km cross-country race held in Linia, a village in Poland’s Pomeranian region. It is part of the Provincial LZS Sports Games and the “Aktywna Wieś” initiative, with a participant limit of 200. The main 10 km race begins at 11:00, followed five minutes later by a 4 km Nordic Walking event for participants aged 60 and over. Online registration is required, and the 10 km race has a 75-minute time limit.
The course covers mixed forest and field terrain, presenting an off-road local race rather than a flat city road run. Results are categorized by overall women’s and men’s divisions, along with age groups for 18-39, 40-59, and 60+. The event also commemorates the 80th anniversary of Ludowe Zespoły Sportowe, the Polish rural sports association. The entry package includes a bib, race insurance, water at the finish line, a jubilee medal, and a recovery meal. Prize drawings, material prizes, and gift vouchers for top finishers contribute to its atmosphere as a community sports day.
