The Sierra Nevada Límite MTB Race is a mountain bike marathon held in mid-July, centered in Pinos Genil, near Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It is situated in the Sierra Nevada mountains, adjacent to the Genil river, and organized by TerraIncognita Sport. Participants can select from two extensive off-road courses: the primary route measures 145 km with 3,750 m of elevation gain, and a secondary route is 114 km.
The race originated from a previous Sierra Nevada Límite marathon that transitioned to road cycling before re-emerging in a mountain bike format. It coincides with the Subida al Veleta, allowing strong competitors to attempt both events: mountain biking on one day and road climbing on the following day. One past event attracted 600 participants. The organizer has noted that the routes are accessible to most cyclists, despite the considerable distances and mountainous terrain presenting a demanding challenge.
