O tomto preteku
The Adam Loret Memorial Run and Pole Walk is a local 5 km event in Łęczyce, in Poland’s Pomorskie region, with a program for children and adults. Entry is free, capped at 200 participants, and includes short 400 m races for preschool children and pupils in grades 1-3, plus categories for grades 4-8 and an open run or walking-with-poles division.
The route uses both asphalt and unpaved sections, not a pure road race. Timing is kept by stopwatch, giving the event a simple community-race feel. Every participant receives a race number and a commemorative medal, while trophies go to the top three finishers; results are also split into overall women’s and men’s classifications and age groups. The race carries Adam Loret’s name as a memorial, the main historical marker in the event’s identity.
