Freo Ocean Classic Run Swim Run

Leighton Beach hosts the Freo Ocean Classic Run Swim Run, with North Fremantle providing a relaxed, club-race-by-the-water atmosphere. It offers a blend of beach running, ocean swimming, and sunshine, centered on aquathlon but also including single-discipline events, allowing runners, swimmers, non-swimmers, and ocean enthusiasts to participate. The course follows a straightforward structure: a path run, an ocean swim, and a final beach run, with solo and team entries available. Dedicated path-only runs cater to non-swimmers, swim-only starts are provided for swimmers, and beach runs are offered for those preferring varied terrain. As an Easter Monday event, a notable tradition is receiving an Easter egg upon finishing.
