The Larry Nicholas Memorial Trail Race is an annual event organized by the Kelowna Running Club and part of the Interior Running Association race series. It has been held for over 36 years in memory of Larry Nicholas, a runner who died in the mid-1980s. The race is held in Mission Creek Park. The course is 8.2 kilometers long and consists of three loops within the park. For 2026, the course will be run in reverse. The event also includes a Kids Fun Run with distances of 600 meters or 2.2 kilometers. Participants should be aware that this is a self-supported race, and no aid stations or water will be provided on the course.
