Subida al Pantano del Quiebrajano is a short trail race based in Puente de la Sierra, near Jaén in southern Spain. It is run in September, starts in the morning, and covers roughly 12 to 13.6 kilometers. The event is open to adults and is organized by Club de Atletismo Quiebrajano with the Jaén sports authority.
Runners start from the football field in Puente de la Sierra, with a cloakroom set up near the start area. The name refers to the Quiebrajano reservoir, and the “Subida” label indicates an uphill race. Its XXII edition shows it has been held many times, giving it the feel of a local fixture for runners around Jaén.
