The Uilentoren Loop Leersum is a forest running event in Leersum, Utrecht province, held on the first Saturday of June. Races begin near the Uilentoren area, focusing on short, accessible distances. Options include Kids Runs for children, and for adults, routes of 5 km, 8 or 9 km, 13 or 14 km, and longer options up to about 17 km (10 miles), varying by edition. The course is almost entirely off-road through the woods surrounding the Uilentoren, featuring compact loops that allow supporters easy access to multiple cheering points. Leersum is situated on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, meaning the route involves some climbing. However, it is also wide enough in many sections for runners to overtake.
