Stratenloop Tuitjenhorn begins and ends by the church in Tuitjenhorn, a village in North Holland. This small road-running event has a 500-runner limit and six race options: short youth runs of 500 metres, 1 km, 1.5 km, and 2.5 km, plus 5 km and 10 km races for men and women.
The 5 km and 10 km races follow a multi-lap course through the village centre, allowing spectators to easily follow the action. The route also passes Van Blanckendaell Park, providing this local street run with a distinctive setting beyond a simple village loop. The youth programme is a significant part of the event, so participants range from children running their first short race to adults competing in the longer distances. With its 76th edition scheduled, it is a long-standing fixture rather than a one-off village race.
