Bavoloop Rijsbergen begins and ends on Bavostraat in Rijsbergen, a village in North Brabant. This local running series offers a summer road program and a winter trail and canicross option. Runners can select a village loop, off-road distances, or participate with a dog. The road program features 2.5 km laps, with races of 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km. Additionally, there are shorter free youth runs and a 4 x 2.5 km relay for teams.
The primary loop winds through Rijsbergen and extends along the stream path and the Aa or Weerijs nature area. This design ensures the course is easy to follow and the event remains contained. The event caters to a recreational field, including first-time runners, local participants, children, sports club teams, groups of friends, and canicross runners. A rollator run starts the day, followed by children's races, with the prize ceremony taking place on Lindekensplein. Participation is limited to 1,000 entrants, and on-site registration is available if spots are still open.
