Beachrun Scheveningen

Beachrun Scheveningen is a winter beach race held in The Hague’s Scheveningen district. The start and finish are located on the Noordboulevard, near EVE Scheveningen. Participants can opt for a single lap of approximately 7 km or two laps covering about 14 km. Most of the course runs along the sand, with minimal sections on city streets. Prior to the main races, children’s events are scheduled: a 750 m run for ages 5 to 8 and a 1500 m run for ages 9 to 11. The course layout is straightforward: a single beach lap for the shorter race and two laps for the longer distance. Adult race entries are divided by distance and gender, with distinct categories for the two children’s distances. The registration fee covers a personal bib, timing, a marked route, aid stations during the race, post-finish refreshments, and a medal. Runners in the 14 km event will find an aid station at the beginning of their second lap. The finish area provides water, sports drinks, and food. Changing facilities are not available, but parking can be found in the nearby garage by the start and finish.
