Bosloop Malden

Bosloop Malden begins on a grass field at the edge of Malden, leading runners onto wooded paths around the village near Nijmegen. It takes place annually on the first Sunday of November, offering running distances from the 500 m Bambinoloop for the youngest children up to 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km. The event also includes walking routes of 3 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, and 10 km through Heumenoord. The course is predominantly off-road, utilizing forest paths and fields in the Heumensoord area near Malden. Local and regional participants attend for both leisurely runs and competitive efforts, with the timing aligning well for those preparing for the Zevenheuvelenloop two weeks later. Primary-school pupils from Heumen compete in their own MTM Kidsrun for the Scholenbokaal. Registration is exclusively through pre-registration, and each distance may close once its participant limit is met.
