Hulsbeekcross

The Hulsbeekcross is a winter cross-country race in Oldenzaal, held within Het Hulsbeek recreation and nature area. Adult participants can select 5 or 10 kilometers, while younger runners compete in age-group races ranging from 1 to 5 kilometers. The event also features Canicross, where dogs and runners complete 2.5 or 5 kilometers together. The course incorporates grass, forest floor, and sand, with a beach section and short climbs. LAAC Twente has designed a 3-kilometer loop for the race, which is included in the Kievit Sport Twentse Cross Competitie. Post-race, participants receive a drink or soup with a sandwich, maintaining the local club-race atmosphere.
