The Berg En Beekdal Trail is a trunk-style trail run held around Renkum and Wageningen in the Netherlands. Runners gather at Boscafe de Beken, using their cars as a base for the day. It features approximately 16 km, 18 km, and 34 km routes along forest paths, lanes, and single tracks. The longest distance is eligible for the UTMB index.
The course consists of two distinct loops, each with comparable elevation gain, allowing participants to return to their vehicles between segments for resupply or equipment adjustments. One loop traces the Renkumse Beek through the Renkums beekdal. The other ascends the Wageningse Berg, where glacial ridge topography provides vistas of the Rhine. This is a self-supported event; GPX files are distributed shortly before the start, and participants must carry sufficient water, preferably using a trail or race vest with a hydration system.
