Loop Esch Door Tubbergen

Loop Esch Door Tubbergen is a compact road-running event in Tubbergen, Overijssel, taking place on the first Sunday of November. It starts and finishes on Raadhuisplein in the village center, with runners and spectators gathered around the square. The program offers several options: 5 km and 10 km races, a company run over 5 or 10 km, kids’ runs from 500 m to 1500 m, a 500 m Uitblinkers Run, and walking routes of 6 or 12 km. The course departs the center for the surrounding countryside, runs over the Tubbergse Esch, and returns to the village heart. The organizers describe it as challenging but fast, suitable for runners aiming for a quick 5 km or 10 km, as well as those seeking a local race-day atmosphere. The Uitblinkers Run is for participants with a disability and replaces the former G-Run name. Approximately 81 volunteers support the event, contributing to a day that feels like a broad village sports festival, not just a series of races.
