The Mundo Nieuwjaarsloop begins the running year in Oud-Beijerland, South Holland, offering 5 km and 10 km distances suitable for runners and walkers. Organized by AV Spirit from their location on Langeweg, the event typically takes place in early January, serving as a relaxed New Year's activity or a competitive timed race. The 10 km course is certified by Atletiekunie and is part of the STARDGRL circuit, providing a precisely measured race and ranking for competitive runners. Walkers, novices, club athletes, and those aiming for a specific time can select either distance. Participants receive medals, access to online results, water, and AA Drink at the event.
