Vegelinboscross

The Vegelinboscross is a winter cross-country race held in the Vegelinbossen, near Sint Nicolaasga, Friesland. Participants select either a 5 km or 10 km course. Some years, the distances range from approximately 5 to 11 km. Both primary races commence late in the morning. The event has a limit of 250 participants, making it a local, intimate race. AV Heerenveen is the organizing club. Youth runners are permitted in the longer race. The facilities provided include changing rooms, showers, first aid, AEDs, and parking at the start on Dobbeleane.
