Bergen-Voss is a 173 km road cycling race from central Bergen to Voss station, covering 2,100 meters of climbing between the city and the inland finish. Bergen CK has organized the event since 1977, marking over 45 years of local cycling history. Over 4,000 riders participate, making it a large group ride and a long, challenging day on the bike.
The route begins at Moxy Bergen in Solheimsgaten, proceeding through Fjøsanger and Midttun, reaching Os after 35 km. It continues through Rolvsvågen before climbing to Kvamskogen. The middle section requires caution: riders are restricted to two abreast early on, the road from Os to Kvamskogen is narrow with opposing traffic, and passing is not advised in Lønningdalen. Following Kvamskogen, a steep, winding descent leads to Norheimsund via dark tunnels. A narrow stretch along the Hardangerfjord precedes the final section from Kvanndal into Voss.
