Finnskogen Triathlon takes place in Finnskogen, Norway, in August. Races are designed around short, accessible distances. The Sprint covers 750m swimming, 20km cycling, and 5km running. The Supersprint is 375m, 10km, and 2.5km. A Normal/Olympic distance offers a 1500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run.
The event is nicknamed “Norway’s most pleasant triathlon.” Its goal is to make the sport accessible, safe, and enjoyable for new and experienced athletes alike. It hosts the national Sprint championship and the junior Supersprint championship. The race is set in Finnskogen’s historic area. August weather is typically warm and dry, with common sunny days and temperatures ranging from 14°C to 25°C.
