About this race

Grange Jetty Reserve is the central point, with the start and finish located beside the Grange Hotel and Grange Jetty Cafe before participants head out along the coast. GOLD Coastal 2026 - RUN GOLD offers a small coastal fun-run atmosphere: runners and walkers, bib pickup on the morning of the event, a group photo, and a straightforward, affordable option rather than a large-scale production. The course follows an AIMS measured loop, heading south toward Henley Beach and returning via the coastal bike/walk path, designed for participants to find a rhythm and "enjoy the journey." The distinctive feature is the "GOLD" theme, including a trophy, finisher medals, and a portion of proceeds donated to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation to aid in the fight to #endcancer. It presents as a welcoming local morning event: run with intensity if desired, walk if preferred, and engage in "running with purpose."
