About this race
Mt Ercildoune shapes this handicap road race on undulating roads in the Victorian Central Highlands. It follows a practical club style: pin on a number, listen at the briefing, and race. It is for masters riders, age 30 and over, who know how to race, roll turns, and measure their effort rather than chase early noise.
The course offers honest road racing: rolling terrain, open roads, and groups set by handicappers. The day depends on pacing, cooperation, and the fairness of your mark. After the finish, riders are asked to bring a plate for post-race presentations and refreshments. The club encourages congratulating fellow competitors and enjoying Eureka hospitality with free tea and coffee.
