About this race
Round two of the “3x3 Cross Country MTB Series” is at Tumut MTB Park, continuing the relaxed club-race atmosphere found in Tumbarumba and Wagga. The event prioritizes family involvement, ensuring juniors are integral to the points system, not secondary. The 1-hour race is designed with younger riders in mind.
The format includes a 3-hour course that takes approximately 30 minutes per lap, and a 1-hour course that is quicker. Electronic timing chips will manage results. Expect the usual informal "catch ups" from previous events and some local recognition. A unique aspect of the series is a lucky draw prize for riders who enter all three events and make a reasonable effort to finish them, shifting the focus from solely trophies.
