About this race

Rowallan Park is the focus: MAD MTBC Mini DH Round 2 uses a fast, technical track built for "flat out enthusiasts" who "don't like pedalling uphill." It feels like a club downhill event rather than a formal competition, with riders there to test limits at race pace and discover who can maintain composure when the trail becomes crowded. The format is straightforward and easy for riders: complete as many runs as desired, then self-seed with adequate space from the preceding rider. Shuttles are not provided, but the return to the top is a short 5-10 minute pedal or walk, establishing a rhythm of climb, prepare, descend, repeat. Expect course marshals, full-face helmets, and prizes for the fastest male and female competitors in the specified categories.
