The Run Bibbulmun Track Stage Race is a three-day solo trail race held at McLean Park in Denmark, Western Australia’s Great Southern region. Participants run sections of the Bibbulmun Track in November. They can choose between the Long Course, with daily stages of 33 to 39 km, or the Short Course, with daily stages of 17 to 24 km. The race is limited to 200 solo runners and is designed for those seeking a stage-race format without the need for teammates or a support crew.
Each stage begins and ends within a 30-minute drive of Denmark, allowing participants to remain based in one location. The course crosses coastal and forested sections of the Bibbulmun Track, featuring remote beaches, rugged coastline, and windswept granite cliffs. Rapid Ascent manages the race, offering checkpoint support and transportation options for solo participants. The event evolved from the Great Southern Stange Run, with the current iteration emphasizing individual participation and offering shorter daily distances alongside the longer course challenge.
