Run Bibbulmun Track Stage Race 2026

McLean Park hosts the Run Bibbulmun Track Stage Race, a three-day trail running event for solo participants on the Bibbulmun Track. The course traverses some of the track’s most spectacular Great Southern sections, featuring "towering karri forests," "coastal heathland," and "remote wilderness trails." It offers a focused trail running weekend: straightforward in idea, yet with sufficient terrain and repetition to challenge runners. Participants select between the Tingle Short Course and the Karri Long Course, with each stage beginning and ending near the same lodging base. The longer option is presented as a "demanding endurance challenge," while the event overall emphasizes an "immersive trail running experience" within one of the region’s "renowned wilderness regions." Included bus transfers, aid stations, and course support handle logistics, maintaining the event's focus on the solo runner against the trail.
