INLINE MARATHON THUN 2026

The Thun Inline Marathon takes skaters to the Panzerpiste at the foot of the Alps near Thun in September. This inline-skating marathon uses a closed, flat, wide pavement strip, making the event more controlled and beginner-friendly than a road race with traffic. The course starts and finishes on the Panzerpiste, accessed via Allmendingerstrasse, with the entire area closed to vehicles during the race. Beginners, experienced skaters, families, and various age groups participate. The event runs concurrently with NSK Thun's roller ski marathon. Food and drinks are available in the Village, not on the course, so skaters should consider the marathon a self-contained effort from the start.
