About this race
The Jungfrau-Harder Run Race is a short, steep mountain run from the Höhematte meadow in central Interlaken to Harder Kulm. It is open to women and men aged 10 and older, with categories including Under 20, Under 40, Over 40, and “Never walk alone” athletes. The race starts in the early evening and has only 250 entry slots, making it a compact event.
The course is 4.4 kilometers long and climbs 755 meters, emphasizing uphill strength over flat-ground speed. Runners start in the middle of Interlaken and ascend directly toward the Harder Kulm finish, with a 75-minute time limit. The format is straightforward: start in town, climb hard, and finish above Interlaken at a landmark viewpoint.
