Beetzseelauf 2026

The Beetzseelauf is a running event held at the regatta course on the Beetzsee in Brandenburg an der Havel. VfL Brandenburg is the organizer, offering a program that includes a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, a 3 km run for students and beginners, walking, and a short Bambinilauf for children. This is a long-standing local race, with over forty editions completed, designed for club runners, recreational athletes, families, walkers, and children, not exclusively for specialists. The half marathon follows the main lake route, circling the Beetzsee. All races commence and conclude at An der Regattastrecke. The shorter races ensure the event is accessible, and the Bambinilauf alone attracts over 100 children. Participants travel from Brandenburg and nearby clubs, including VfL Brandenburg, OSC Potsdam, SC Potsdam, Potsdamer Laufclub, VfL Rathenow, SV Stahl Hennigsdorf, and Laufpark Stechlin. Aid stations are positioned along the routes. Finishers will receive fruit, cake, drinks, music, commentary, and medals for the Bambini and 5 km races.
