About this race
CROSSDOG SUMMER NIGHTs is a night obstacle race for dogs held on the MSC Goldbach motocross track in Goldbach. Races commence in the evening, following start number collection and a DOG Check on the event grounds. The primary race formats are CaniX OCR and CaniX CHALLENGE. The OCR covers approximately 5 km with over 15 obstacles, while the Challenge spans about 3 km with 12 stations. A PawSPRINT, a brief 50-100 m dog race, is also offered, alongside a Kids OCR of roughly 3 km with more than 15 obstacles, run without dogs.
The course utilizes a motocross track modified for runners and dogs, meaning teams navigate terrain shaped by bikes, not a typical trail or road loop. At night, the course is illuminated with LEDs and marked with signs, providing a functional race environment. The DOG Check verifies the dog’s general condition, not a veterinary examination. Participants must provide the dog, a vaccination pass showing a current rabies vaccination, proof of dog liability insurance, and any necessary CaniX OCR equipment. Complimentary parking is provided at Waldschwimmbad Goldbach, and camping is available upon registration and payment of a nightly fee.
